MIN-MAN TACTICAL GO- BAGS

A minute man go-bag, also known as a bug-out bag, is a portable kit that contains the items one would require to survive for 72 hours or more when evacuating from a disaster. It is a fundamental resource for emergency preparedness and is equally beneficial for adventure seekers , who venture into the wilderness or face upon a societal collapse and have to defend your land or community for days at a time .

Highly Essential Components of a Go-Bag is

a well-prepared go-bag , and should include the items categorized below that we will be discussing and using my setup as an example.

Lifestraw - portable water filtration method which can also be converted into a water funnel collector when the filter is used up and taken out .

Water and Hydration: Include at least one liter of water per person per day, water purification methods like iodine tablets or portable filters & camel-paks.

Food: Pack non-perishable, easy-to-prepare items such as energy bars, freeze dried fruits, nuts, and high protein ready-to-eat meals.

I set myself a 1-week meal prep for each go-bag all I need is 10-12 oz of water to boil for a few minutes, and then stir inside mealbag with a mini handheld propane top burner.

Clothing: Prepare for various weather conditions with lightweight, protective clothing, and sturdy footwear and a pack of heavy duty socks .

Hand & feet warmers definitely recommend in cold environments .

Shelter and Warmth: Items like emergency thermal blankets, tents, or even large plastic trash bags can protect against wind and rain.

Thermal blankets - Essential for cold environments to stay warm recommend using under your clothing or sleeping blanket wrapped tightly .

Poncho - This item is great for use in rain , or to collect water from storms and also to protect your electronics and seal up your go-bag if necessary.

Health and First Aid: This is my advanced first aid kit, you can also add prescription medications, personal hygiene items, and sanitation supplies.

E-tool - Great for digging fox holes for bathroom purpose , camping stealth holes for hiding & much more !

Survival bug out knife - Very useful for overgrown areas , cooking , fire starting , branch cutting and a useful tool as a weapon .

Heavy duty cutter - for emergency uses or fence cutting

Heavy duty zip ties - for survival purposes for any job and apprehension of a looter or someone trying to harm you once you've taken control of the situation.

The importance of multi-tools, flashlights, extra batteries, matches, or a lighter can be great for long term situations.

Communication and Navigation: Emergency whistle, satellite phone or gps with chargers, solar charger, maps, and a compass enclosed in faraday cage.

Faraday pouch - Great for any electronics and to hold batteries.

Another storage for go-bags can be

Personal Documents and Cash: Copies of important documents (ID, passport, ssid ,insurance policies) and a small amount of cash in small denominations in a slim (biometric safe) the size of a "book".

Preparedness: The primary benefit of a go-bag is the level of preparedness it provides. In the event of an emergency, such as a natural disaster or unforeseen evacuation, having a ready-packed bag with all necessities can be life-saving.

Here are some MORE overlooked essential items to prepare for when packing a bag depending on your environment.

Firestarters - Great for putting some into a ziplock bag inside your go-bag , I put 20 rolls in each bag.

1lbs propane tank great for my 3000 BTU mini burner and can last on "low" setting up to 6 meals .

Ziplock bags for any purpose , stormproof matches and a good medicated SPF lipbalm is essential for outdoor activitys.

Self Hygiene - is a complete must when setting up a go-bag .

Sulfur soap - The best survival soap bar to use for your skin in any environment eliminates , fungal , acne and bacteria on skin with little water in critical areas on your body .

Wash sud cloth - Smells great when in use all you need is little water and it creates soapy suds to clean your body like a rag , no need for a full shower with this item !

When you combine these two together it's the best hand portable go-shower ull ever get and all you need is a bottle of water .

Paracords - Every survivalist should have this in handy for fishing , extra shoe laces , trapping , fire starting, hanging clothes ETC .

Hygiene is a must when digging up a foxhole , flush wipes will prevent swamp ass and be best used compared to "dry" toilet paper .

Tourniquets - Highly recommend having these on hand for any bloody situation to stop bleeding Incase of falling or running onto something sharp , bullet womb or worse .

Always use on the highest part of your leg or arm and make sure it's tight and properly secure , while keeping track of how long you have It on for

Glow sticks - Are best for dark places , deep holes or rescue signals, you can also hang these with paracords almost anywhere.

Also if flammable enough use for emergency fire starting.

Balaclava - Great for facial coverage during operations and cold environments.

Hygiene - Always have good hand wipes when bugging out , prevents infections from dirt and other contaminants you get in contact with .

Ballistic goggles - From shrapnel to dust storms and high winds full of dirt , these will always be the go to eye protection product for me .

"Night cat" - This is probably the best survival tent I used in many adventures it's lightweight and easy to setup anywhere.

I think it can fit possibly 2 people depending on size , also hiding this tent with a camo blanket in the woods for stealth camping with a sniper also worked for me tremendously.

Efficiency: During emergencies, time is of the essence. A go-bag ensures that you can act quickly without the need to gather supplies last-minute, which can be chaotic and stressful.

Self-sufficiency: A go-bag allows an individual to be self-reliant for up to three days to a week ,without additional supplies. This is critical in situations where help may not be immediately available.

On this image i have 2 go-bags with the same exact setup but with different meals .

*One for use at anytime

*The other for backup , for another person or vehicle

I have 4 different categories of Go-bags each category has 2 Go-bags which makes 8 bags in total .

Reason why ? I Packed them up for different environments and situations ,when it comes to emergency setups with the 4 seasons of the year .

Some of my Go-bags have ammo and firearm maintenance care kits inside for outdoor training or specific camping adventures.

Peace of Mind: Knowing that you are prepared for an emergency with a go-bag brings peace of mind, reducing mental anxiety about potential disasters.

Adaptability for Adventures: For adventure enthusiasts, the go-bag is an indispensable tool. Whether trekking through remote areas or camping in the wilderness, the go-bag provides a basis for survival away from urban comforts.

Compact and nicely organized each about 40lbs .

☢️ This is not including with my plate Carrier already setup along with my primary and secondary weapon , so I will be carrying about 70lbs .

This can apply to you as well , you can also wear a chest rig with soft body armor if you are not a plate Carrier type of person and want a lighter load.

🌐 So many endless combinations of setting up a Go-bag , but set it up accordingly with the environment and location you live in.

Go-bags are not just emergency essentials but also invaluable for outdoor adventures. They empower individuals to handle unexpected situations with confidence and safety. Regularly updating and tailoring the contents of a go-bag to fit personal needs and local risks can significantly enhance its effectiveness. In essence, a go-bag is a simple yet profound investment in one's safety and well-being in the face of unpredictability.
