How to create a faraday cage and why it's important to have one

Optional - Add a Conductive Layer: For added protection, wrap the electronic devices in a conductive material, such as aluminum foil, before placing them inside the insulated ammo can. This extra layer can help to disperse electromagnetic energy more effectively.



Seal the Can: Once your devices are inside, close the ammo can tightly. The metal casing of the can acts as a shield, blocking out electromagnetic fields.


Test Your Faraday Cage: Although testing with an actual EMP is not feasible, you can test the effectiveness of your Faraday cage by attempting to call a cell phone placed inside it. If the cage is effective, the call should not go through.
